Narcissism is more than wounded vanity or difficult behaviour. It is a complex, deeply rooted personality pattern whose destructive impact is far greater than many realise, especially where it operates unseen. This book sheds light not only on well-known patterns, but also on the largely overlooked mechanisms by which narcissists bind, confuse, and systematically weaken their victims.
I have experienced first-hand how insidious these dynamics are – and how difficult it is to break free from them. My aim is to close a gap in German-language education and awareness by going deeper, naming things more clearly, and equipping those affected with tools to understand their story and reclaim their lives.
This book does not seek only to expose, but also to strengthen. It is a guide out of the darkness of narcissistic abuse and back towards self-respect, inner freedom, and the courage to be oneself again.
The German edition is scheduled for publication in early 2026. An English edition is planned to follow at a later stage.

The mineral water and beverage mafia
With her exposé Giftcocktail Körperpflege, science journalist Marion Schimmelpfennig meticulously demonstrated, based on numerous studies and months of research, that most ingredients in cosmetics do not nourish the body but can actually make people ill.
